All our workers are approved boat repairers and as with all our work you should reasonably expect repairs to your yacht to be invisible. The secret is understanding how colour works in gel coat. Different depths show different colours. New gel coat must be colour matched at all levels to provide that seamless finish. Joinery especially when fire damaged, can provide an exciting challenge all repair work will be immaculate. Whatever the scale of repair we will be happy to provide a detailed estimate and, if sought, will make suggestions of other main servicing work that can usefully be undertaken at the same time.

GRP / Fibreglass / Glassfibre Yacht Repair

We believe we have one of the best gel coat colour-matchers in the business. We specialise in fibre glass repairs – be it renovating old tired fibre glass and doing away with imperfections or dealing with more severe accident damage. The key to our reputation is the ability to match colour. Stare into any hull and you will see it has slight colour variations at different depths of the paintwork. Matching this multi-depth, multi-colour finish is an artform.

Structural Deck & Hull Repair

The best yacht racers are aggressive – and whilst all attention should be given to safety & seamanship – if you don’t have an incident or two to your name then it’s possible you just aren’t pushing hard enough ! For those ‘nearly brilliant’ moves we are here to pick up the pieces, get the boat back to the yard (be it our yard or elsewhere) and make repairs. As with all our work you should expect the repair to be so effective that the boat will be at least as strong as before and the mend will be invisible.

Fire damage repair

Your boat’s key materials, be it GRP, Carbon, Timber or Kevlar (or a blend of all) will have undergone far-reaching property changes, even in a small fire. Strength, colour and texture will all have been affected. Our team have a host of experience with fire damage, what can be saved, what must go and, most importantly what must be achieved in order to hand the boat back as strong and as beautiful as she was before the fire.

Fiberglass Car & Jetski Repair

This TVR had previously had an incident and had been repaired and painted by another company. However, after a while, stress cracking appeared in the way of the old repair which bought the vehicle to us. We ground out the damage and found that the previous repair had come away and needed doing completely again. As you can see from the pictures, it now looks stunning and is also structurally sound. This TVR is shown at events around the country and, as in everything that we do, the end result was very important to both GBR and the proud owner.
